Spridgeteers,
Interesting pieces of bigotry regarding the profiling of SUV owners I have
read in a few messages today. By the way, of the vehicles I own, my Bugeye
Sprite is by far the worst for miles per gallon, and certainly the most
polluting. I guess we should ban racing, right?
I fit the "small guy in a big SUV" prejudice, even though my other cars
would indicate that besides a serious complex of inferiority, I might also
suffer from split or multiple personalities! I should also sell at least
four of my six cars, as I really don't "need" them... And all this time, I
thought I lived in the "land of the free"?
By the way, I will not lower myself to treat drivers in a different way
because of the type of vehicle they drive. I try to be courteous to all -
always.
This afternoon, on my way back home, I got stuck, with my Expedition, behind
a lady in a Saturn that actually stopped for a green light - brain fade, I
guess... Had to wait a full cycle before I could cross the intersection. I
guess I should now launch a fierce diatribe against women drivers and
Saturns, right?
