I think there are quite a few "square body" Sprites with Bugeye bonnets
around. I personally like the look of the bonnet, and the practicality of
having a boot- purists will disagree, I am sure... A front opening bonnet
does help to get at things nicely too! I plan to fit the battery of my Mkll
in the boot.
I already have a Bugeye bonnet for my Mkll. Seems it will fit just fine, but
of course I have an early Mkll, which is very little different from a
Bugeye. That being said, I don't think there will be any problem fitting one
to a 73- Frank or Gerard will know for sure!
