ok, i'm finally really considering ordering the electronic
"points" which is best, pertronix, or ???? please keep in mind
that i have a positive ground car and don't intend to reverse
its polarity.
also Paul, as a side note, NIEHOFF rotor cap we installed which
has the longer "contact arm" is longer on the leading edge, not
the trailing, which affected the timing! it is not
interchangeable with a "stock" rotor without resetting the
timing! i went back to that little shop in cathelamet and all the
sprite ignition parts were GONE with the exception of one coil
which i did obtain.
also Chuck, there were three or four sets of points and/or
condensors for the SAAB. i forgot to look at your message as to
which ones specifically you wanted. i haven't forgotten. next
time i go back i'll get em all and send em on to ya. no rotors
or caps tho. still intersted i presume?
