Hi - I'm planning to lower my car about 1" and stiffen the springs. Front
springs, no problem, 340 lb/in coils readily available. Stock front springs are
270 lb/in (Midget, 1275) so the front would be 25% stiffer, not including sway
bar effects. What have folks done to increase the rear stiffnes proportionally?
I gather from a previous post (thanks Brent Wolf) that 1500 rear springs are 86
lb/in (only 7.5% stiffer than 1275 @ 80 lb/in), and would need rearching to get
ride height in the ballpark.
