Ya' know....

I used to replace items regularly
every two years or 25k miles, whichever
came first. I am doing a lot less Sprite
driving these days as I work closer to
home or use the train for commutes to
the city and have the GTi as a winter
or foul weather back-up to the Frogeye
these days, in any event.

The ground strap like the Facet electric
LP fuel pump is a low cost item in consideration of how much we depend
on gasoline and electricity to "go".

I't's overkill I know, but things
don't necessarily have to quit completely
to give intermittent problems as they wear
out over time with use. I feel it can be a
matter of extent rather than "black or white" (aka "on" or "off"!).

PS - Kevin V.! Am ordering Weber parts
today...I'll get back to you on this! :)
