I believe that the concept is that galvanizing is a form of zinc-plating;
hence if you have enough zinc in your paint you can accomplish much the same
thing. At least that would be the salesman's line. Whether there is a
significant amount of technical merit to it I could not say, but Paul's
recommendation is good enough for me.
