My son just returned from the Carlisle Boom-Boom show. aka custom
compact meet. There will be no more custom compacts at Carlisle next
year. I guess those loud stereos upset the whole city.
So that means the Econolodge won't be getting $120 a night for the room.
Yeah, $120 a night, no fresh towels or a bed change let alone a made bed
and they told the boys, no use of the balcony.
Fresh towels for the 2nd night must not be in the cheap rooms.
I guess you have to spend $200 a night to get fresh towels each day.
$300 a night if you want to go out on the balcony!
I wonder what they get if you wanted the bed made each day?
At least our old stand by the urine-8 gave us towels and made the beds
each day.
He did come home with a first place award in the VW class.
Not bad considering there had to be a few hundred VWs out there. Hell,
his car was in the garage for 4 months getting preped for that meet!
Now I have a week to get 4 LBCs in shape for my meet next week.
