I got the muffler reattached. This is the attachment that holds the
actual "can" to the floorpan not an exhaust clamp. The original tab
welded to the can broke off long ago.



I made up a 1/8 x 1" aluminum strap bracket to wrap around the can kind
of like an "Adel" fastener or motorcycle 'C' exhaust clamp then bent a
90 degree about 2 inches up that the bolt goes through to attach to the
pan. How long it will last, who knows. In the meantime I can drive it
:-)

Any great ideas out there for attaching the muffler better.
