I've been a long-time reader of BCM because it was all about what I love. I
was skeptical about the change but hopeful. I am a sometime reader of
Grassroots Motorsports but find I get seduced into thinking I want autocross
every weekend, race SCCA, buy an RX7, etc. etc. It's a little like not
using birth control-- things can get out of hand pretty quick and cost you a
whole lot of money and get your wife real upset. But Classic Motorsport's
first issue was pretty darn good. All cars I could relate to, good balance
of coverage, MUCH improved graphics and layout, the old BCM columnists on
board, and Gary Anderson still at the helm. I have to admit there has been
the occassional non-English-speaking car in my barn....but I mnow try real
hard to avoid that!

Like David, the more I got into it, the better it seems.
Definately more contents than BCM. The Volvo P-1900 was very
interesting. Not an LBC but still worth reading. More advertisers too.
Ok a bit heavy on the racing stuff but so far I think it's as good if
not better then BC mag.
