Thanks so much for your public and private replies. The car is in
Willard, MO about 10 miles-ish NW of Springfield, MO. It has sill and
rocker panel rust and some ill-fitting body panels. I'm willing to
overlook engine issues (I'm leaning away from the 1500 now since the PO
rebuilt it) but not the rust.
With that said, I'm looking for a pre-75 Midget or Sprite for sale in
restorable condition. I'm not looking for a driver, just a car with
manageable rust and in need of a good home.
Once again, thanks to all. I'm passing on this car, but I'd love to
hear about others in my area.
