Yup.  The pertronix will make the tach read high.  The
solution (on the "external sensor" tachometers, where
there's a wire in a loop clipped to the back of the tach) is
to remove one loop.  If the snesor lead plugs into the tach,
you have to make internal modifications, I believe.
