Although it is a shame you had to go through the
hassle of the pants saga, kiss the ground and thank
the universe that it wasn't UPS. In May, they trashed
a vintage turntable (double boxed beyond their
specifications at a professional shipping
facility)that I sold on ebay for $326, and it took me
2 1/2 months to get my money, despite having all
documentation, photos, proof of value, pictures of its
"as shipped" condition, sworn affadavits from the
Pope, etc. When all was said and done, they didn't
even re-imburse me for the $13 of packaging that went
into the unit as well. Between this and the two
separate episodes where it took 2 weeks to get stuff
from Madison, WI (43 miles away), I will use Fed Ex
whenever possible in the future.
