If your new switch includes the plastic retainer clip, just use a small
screwdriver to pry the old one off. It will break and come off easily then. If
you didn't get the retainer clip, you have to pry both sides at the same time
which is about impossible with the dash in the car.

But just how do you remove the clip that secures the headlight switch??? Is
there a trick or do you have to tear the dash apart?
