I'm trying to plumb an Accusump oil accumulator into my system and figure to
"T" in between the high pressure port at the right rear of the block (oil
pump exit to via banjo fitting to oil filter, on a stock set-up) and the
hose leading to my oil cooler. In order to do this, I need to use some
adapters to go to A-N, JIC, or NPT system from the BSP male-to-male adapter
currently screwed into the port in the block (which now mates to the female
BSP swivel end hose fitting on the end of the oil cooler hose).

My question is, what is the size and design of this British swivel hose end
called? The male nipple is the "cup" part, and the female fitting pulls in
the "cone" part on the end of the hose to seal the joint. Anyone know the
cone angle (37', 45' or 60')? And are the threads on this sort of Brit
hydraulic hose British Standard Pipe Parallel or British Standard Pipe
Straight?

I've called several race shops in the US and they seem to all be using
American coolers, so all the hose fittings are A-N Aeroquip-style. I don't
want to replace a perfectly good, and quite new, cooler and braided
staineless set of hoses to do this.

Maybe Daniel over on the old sod can tell me right off the top of his head.

Thanks.
