What???

YOU are going to be in trouble?

How do you figure this?

HE...and he alone is the one who
should be in trouble assuming his
operation of the vehicle caused the
problems with the one you gave him.

I'd buy him a used Schwinn...that's it for a
while. Alternatively, he can temporarily
walk, take the bus or rely on others
for transport for a while.

When you skip steps in the "learning
process" they will "re-visit" as surely
as night follows day and day follows
night.

Don't believe me....give him the keys
to your Healey, Jorge.

Make no mistake about it...my Dad
loved his kids. This included (but was
not limited to "tough love").

There is nothing worse for a kid who had
tasted "independence" then to lose it for a
while as the result of irresponsible
behaviour...... a little walking
or having to rely on others for transport
for a few months won't kill him. It will
give him "pause" to consider...so he
can do a better job (he will) the next
time around.

Otherwise...give him the key to your
Healey....
