Anecdotal information is the best kind to get in this case - real
information from real people who have dealt with this company.

My entire family dropped Nationwide some years ago because of the way they
handled an incident involving my brother. He had had one ticket and one
minor fender bender in a parking lot. Then he was severely injured in a
motorcycle accident - a guy driving a pickup turned left in front of him and
then stopped, blocking the lane completely. My brother was not speeding and
according to the police report the collision was totally the fault of the
pickup driver. His motorcycle was insured through another company. Good
old Nationwide cancelled his auto insurance. Then they had the balls to
contact my parents, my sister, and myself and demand that we all sign a form
stating that we would not let my brother drive any of our vehicles. If we
didn't sign our insurance would be cancelled. We all lived in separate
households.

It's bad enough that the government forces us to take part in legalized
gambling (Hey insurance man - I bet you I'm gonna die before you think I
will!), but when you're treated like we were by Nationwide it makes you
sick.
