Me, personally...?
I am so sick of rust in the area of fender
beading on my BE bonnet (and it's been
completely broken down, separated and
treated) that I am selling my metal bonnet
and replacing it with a glass one.
I've had it...do you hear me? HAD IT!!
The rear beading is no problem at all but
keeping after the front beading is just too
much of a PITA!! I've had it....with a little
more caffeine, I'll have had it with this
stuff even more!! <G>
Viva la hand-laid fibreglass!!
No rust, lighter, better fore/aft weight
balance, easier to lift and...oh, yeah...
did I mention....NO RUST!!
