I'm not loaning Frank any of my tools. From what it sounds, he's
awfully hard on them. My ex wife was like that. She killed three
blenders in a one month span by packing them so full of ice they'd lock
up until she let the motor burn up on them. Each time, it was the
"poorly made" blender's fault. Then there was the time I caught her
poking a thin metal rod repeatedly into the back of the microwave, while
it was running, in an attempt to stop the "funny noise" she heard. I
probably should have encouraged her to keep at it instead of attempting
to explain high voltage physics and its harm on the human body. Not so
long after that, we got into a wrestling match at the carwash because
she was using a 3M scouring pad on the new truck, oblivious to the fact
she was sanding off the paint but couldn't see it because of the water
wet over the surface. No way I'd ever take that woman with me in an
airplane or let her drive one of my cars again.

I use Harbor Freight, Craftsman, Home Depot, and other sorts of tools,
but never have a problem with them. Of course, I no longer try to "over
use" a tool anymore either. Things like putting a four foot piece of
pipe over the end of a ratchet wrench instead of buying a breaker bar
will kill just about any brand.
