I wish I could say that but it seems all those tools are dead in the box.
Maybe it's me, I was brought up thinking that new stuff should work
when new. New solder irons should get hot, new drills should not smoke,
and stainless steel spackle blades should not rust after the first use.
And a #14 wood screw should not snap off with a hand screw driver going
in a pre drilled hole.

Harbor freight, you buy cheap, you get cheap, I know that and expect to
get crap, but it's cheap.
Sears, I avoided them for about 25 years, I just recently started
shopping there again, I guess I'll see how things are in another 25
years. And home defect! NFW, I wouldn't give them the sweat off my nads
if they were dying of thirst! They stick harbor freight tools in name
brand cases. Ask any professional about anything from the defect.
Duct work, roofing, plywood, none of it meets building codes.
Moen, Nutone, Stanley, all make substandard goods (in china) bearing
their names specifically for lowes and home defect. Slant fin will not
sell to home defect, neither will any decent lighting supplier.
I do buy my hand tools from Eppy's tools but Eppy does not carry a keyed
chick drill anymore and those keyless chuck drills just don't get bits
tight enough for metal drilling. All my old tools are dying and I have
no problem with that, 20-25 years on a 3/8 drill is good enough for me,
20 seconds on the new one....Well what's wrong with this picture?
