For those who sail or fly about, a hand
held GPS can be a real life-saver, no
doubt about it. Great insurance policy.
You Bob, do a great deal of traveling by
auto and the latest rentals have an
onboard map and will give verbal directions. Great stuff, no doubt about
for the guy who drives for business
purposes.
The thing is, more and more states are
developing systems that can locate you
quickly if you are in a position to give them your GPS coordinates.
Sounds to
me like a hand held might one day save
either your life or the life of another..you
just never know.
I think like the cellphone, the hand held
GPS is a great insurance policy against
the unforseen. Were I you, I'd get one
for sure.
