Yes...running a street machine without
an air filter is bad news in all respects
and a high price to pay for "looking cool".
The fine grit that gets into the motor and
scratches up the bores sets the motor up
for an early overhaul in any event, the
larger stuff which causes obvious damage
notwithstanding.
