I have decided to paint my 77 Midget, so I will start stripping it after
the New Year. I hope to be done by the beginning of April :-)
Anyway if you have seen my car it is this ugly orange/brown, but the
color has grown on me and I will be doing it the same color. I got the
following color information from Paul's site,
http://www.teglerizer.com/mgcolors/index.html

    Sandglow (beige/gold)
    (caramel)
    BLVC63
    MGB 1976-77
    Midget 1976-77 BLVC 63
    AWBG 31030
    ICI 8651, GC 20
    DITZ 24300
    DUP 44565
    RM 8844

I found a color chip on this site
http://www.mgdriversclub.com/tech/paint/images/1976-chart01.jpg
The color seems a darker than what is on my car.

My question is this what is the best way to get the correct paint for my
car. I am not sure if correct is what BL used or what I am seeing on
the car. I could bring the whole car or a trunk lid to the paint
supplier if necessary. What should I expect? I don't want to paint the
car and get all pissed that it is now what I wanted.
