 Oh they must be put together with 3M H20 base crap.
 

Look under a lot of GM products, most things with transverse rear leafs 
including Corvettes, and Astro Vans , some full sized vans, with 
longitudinal leafs. , for probably 15 years if not more . It's not 
anything new, and yes with time they have been known to delaminate .
