Thanks for the quick reply Frank.  I think I may just head out to the garage
and try the screw trick right now.  I have a rebuild kit arriving in the
morning.  It appears the kit included the rubber boot, (2) seals that go
between the reservoir and the main body and (2) other seals.  What are the
(2) other seals and will these require removing the piston?

P.S. I think I may have some old "made in America" nails in the garage.  If
not, I know the others are "Hecho en Mexico".

I have had good results with a torch. Melt that sucker out!
Or try what I try first before i melt it out.
Drill 2 small holes in the nylon guide, insert a coarse thread screw in
each hole. Try prying out with a claw hammer. Sometimes it works.
And that is the easy part.
Wait till you try to get the second circlip out 1/2 way down the bore ;)
8d finish nails on one of those replaceable tipped circlip removal tools
works sometimes for that. But you need old nails because the new nails
just bend if you look at them wrong.
