I rode in a 283 Chevy V8 Sprite back in the 60s. The kid across the
street made one. We did wheelies down the hiway. It was a 3 speed.
A brick would handle much better. It is a straight line drag racer,
don't even think about turning it. His car lasted him all of 2 weeks
before the engine just ripped the car apart. Of course he was a kid, I
was a younger kid, and I am sure his was not done very well.
He used a Jeep CJ3 rear axle, it fit right under the Sprite. So I guess
he had one heluva diff ratio huh?
