Hi Mike,

I don't care for stainless as they're so weak. They're the equivalent of
hardware grade bolts, like the ones at home despot.

What I've use for ages are simply plated grade 5 bolts, but I DON'T use the
cork gasket.  It's crap.  I make one from gasket material and put some
thread sealant on the ends of the bolts to seal against coolant leakage.
With a flat washer under the head, just screw them in and tighten a bit.  No
twist em off tighten, just nice and firm.  A few years later you'll be so
pleased with the ease they come out.
