Jim, "Infection" is another good word beside "Addiction" ...more like a
staph infection that may never be completely cured. You may get rid of
it for a while but it can just as likely haunt you for the rest of your
life. Spriteitis maximus.

Subject: My Sprite saga

So, last Fall, my wife Bobbie and I decided that there were
too many cars and projects in the stable and we needed to
downsize to free up some time and money to work on my FFR
Cobra and our two MGA projects. We offered for sale our 70
MGB, our 69 Sprite, and our 61 Sprite project (what Bobbie
called Bugeye in a box). The 69 went to a good home
first, last November, and the Bugeye sold just after
Christmas. No one so far has been interested enough in the
MGB.

So, now we were Spriteless and I considered whether I needed
to resign from this list.

And the cash just stayed in my desk drawer waiting for
Carlisle Import.

This must be an addiction. I was thinking that I would miss
the 69 Sprite as soon as good weather returned. Bobbie
made it worse. She found a 66 Sprite for sale here in
Connecticut. Long story short: we are its new owners.
Slick little car.

So, the money is no longer in my drawer and Im staying on
the list.
