Cosmoline can be had from Eastwood. I have a can and use it to preserve
cleaned parts.
It's like a wax in a spray can.
As for the 948 and Ebay, a friend of mine couldn't get $20 for a
complete engine so he sold it off in bits, $5 fro the V/c $10 for the
oil pan, $80 for the crank, $25 for the cam, etc, he made $180 breaking
it up, he even got $5 for a can full of used bolts and nuts!!
And all shipable that way too.
Something to consider.
And just last week some one asked me to get the running 948/smoothcase
out of their garage. Now it sits in my garage but I think I just gave it
away to go in one of the Moses sprites I picked up.
Meanwhile, it sits in my garage taking up space that is much more valuable.
