AEG521 & 621 are "goodguy" rods for
1 & 5/8" Big End ("small" journal) motors.
The best rods for 1275's ("large" journal...1 & 3/4" Big Ends) are,
according to Vizard, Innocenti rods (no "number",
given, unfortunately).
Next best (he states), would be rods which come from A Series motors
just
prior to the A+ Series motors. Here again,
"vague"...no numbers (rats!) but it doesn't
really matter as he goes on to state:
ALL "Large" journal Series A rods were overengineered in terms of
strength for
the application (IOW....they're ALL good for lots more torque and
power:):):).
Don't know what "sizing" is as applied to
con rods...sorry! :(
