Finally, got the engine tuned and running wonderfully. Really works
super with the 5 speed. But now I realize how poor my brakes are , and
need some advise to correct.

Brakes are later Mk2 Sprite discs in front and drum in rear. Everything
rebuilt or new (rotors, hoses, etc). Using Castrol GT LMA fluid. Had
previously bled system per recommended procedure (start furtherst & work
in towards MC). Brakes always seemed a little soft - pedal goes down
most of way before any real pedal pressure, but I thought this was just
40 year old technology. But drove a friend's Bugeye (with stock drum
setup) the other day and his brakes were much firmer, pedal pressure
instantly.

Son-in-law & I spent today bleeding system (4 times). Bottom-line is
some air came out, but pedal pressure did not improve much at all. No
fluid leaks anywhere, but I am thinking air leak somewhere in system?
Any ideas as to where to start, before I disassemble everything?

Suggestions are greatly appreciated, as always.
