You know bob, Blake and I had that exact problem on a Honda we worked on
once,, that's an interesting idea!

My other thought was that the dizzy got installed 180 out, but I don't
know if that's possible on a 1500. It IS on a 948, ask me how I know.

I don't really have an answer for you on
this 'cause it could be a lot of things, but normally....
a "fast street cam" will not idle at extremely low rpm due to
insufficient
vacuum....I would suspect improper cam timing to begin with.

And of course, there is no way the engine
should continue to run with a fully closed
idle mixture screw...was the Weber kit
specifically for a stock 1500?
