The 948 Judson pulley hookup is different
from that on the 1275. The 1275 had a
harmonic balancer type of pulley while the
948 did not.

The Judson kit included it's own pulley 
(having been designed for the 948)
and having no experience with the 948 set-up, I shall defer to those who
do.

With respect to the 1275, the fan belt
groove was behind the "balancer" part of
the crankshaft pulley. Thus, George cut
(machined) a groove in the "balancer" for
the Judson belt. This would put the Judson belt BEFORE the fan belt and
this was so when I ran a Judson on my
PO'd '67 (stock 1275) Sprite.
