Hey, I have a '66 VW microbus wired all in red too! But mine has clever
finger-twisted splices, masking tape insulation, and strips of duct tape
trying to hold bundles to greasy bulkheads.
Red is hot, right?

OK, guys! Saw an ultimate wiring job on a Morris Minor this week. It was
beautifully done, lots of nice connectors on bus bars, contact strips and
well
supported everywhere. Had padding over sharp areas, just really wonderful.
All done, with the exception of 2 wires, in just one color. RED!!!
No kidding! I took photos of it!
