In an effort to have a timely restoration I did some stuff in my garage. I
clean a bunch of greasy parts getting the ready for bead blasting. I cleaned
my work bench and polished my dizzy housing. When I went to re-assemble the
the dizzy I was trying to drive the pin into the dog at the bottom. I came
up with the bright idea of opening my bench vise about 1/3 the diameter of
the drive. I pounded that pin back in and nothing moved. The I lifted the
dizzy and learned;

   The corners of my old vise will cut gouges into the dog drive.

Nothing a file couldn't fix, but next time I will pad the edges. I guess that
is what experience gets you. But the dizzy is back together and ready to go
in the car. Can't test it till tomorrow since I have no exhaust and the old
the neighbors house is pretty close. I give them enough reason not to like
me, why add ones I can get issued a summons :-)
