....ALL carbs "suck" for crissake!
Some suck better than others under
certain circumstances.
Variable choke types suck better than fixed choke types at partial
throttle
settings (for the purposes of low and mid-range acceleration) and fixed
chokes
do better job at the higher end of the
scale (AFTER) once the (atomized) flow truly gets going.
And further, when "modified" for the
high rpm only application (which would
be racing) a pair of 1.75 or 2.0" SU's
would give even the "45" equipped big bore Series A a run for it's
money, all else being equal, of course!
ANYBODY (who's somebody) knows this...I'll betcha even Saddam and Osama
know this!
......even the slant-eyed little guy living
across the street from you knows this and
who BTW, given his choice,
would truck bomb YOU (not your
wife, your kids or your cats...just YOU) out of existence in a
heartbeat, anyway ......and I, for one, would back him up
in consideration of the "girlyman pinko"
