Yeah but those areas were selling gasoline for substantially higher
prices in the 60's than the 30 to 35 cents that I referenced.  I think
that all things considered, gasoline is still a bargain, especially when
you consider what our brothers in the UK are paying.

Which some analysts have predicted by the end of the year.  In fact it's
already
touched that in some areas, the LA Times ran a photo the other day of a
sign
with $2.999 on it (and I paid $2.599 this morning for regular).
