Heat and beat using a suitable drift 

Use a torch and work it in circles. When you see a black tar-like substance 
bubbling at the edge of the bushing, drive it out. It should pretty much drop 
out if it is heated enough. The factory used a sealant that was a liquid when 
applied but it becomes a solid when there is no air getting to it. It was to 
prevent rust!

I tried pushing one out in a 25 ton press and only succeeded in bending the 
trailing arm. After it was heated up, it damn near fell out by itself!!!
