Sorry, Billy, but the fuses in question are not rated at 240VAC, are they?
Yes, fuses ARE rated for amps at a particular voltage. What he is looking at
is what is called a 17/35 fuse which means that it is intended to survive a
17A continuous load, but will blow in short order if subjected to a 35A
load. Nice of them to have a system which acknowledges the concept of
intended load as well as melting point.
