ok, i got my carbs rebuilt (by Joe Curto) .. and the back one leaked
out the top of the float bowl... .. Paul A. suggested that the fuel
pump was putting out too much pressure... sure enough, it was
4->7 lb unit, not a 1->3 lb... .. all we could get on short notice
was a 2->4 lb. one, .. and the leak all but went away... soo0oo000
i'm looking for a fuel pressure regulator. i see 'em in VB for
c.$50.00, but i found the same one (mr. gasket part #9710) for
$29.00 from another source... .. the question is, .. is the the
best/cheapest/most effective unit out there, or is there another one
that is more reliable/effective?
