Hard to say without seeing them, but I would guess the smooth one is most
likely original. My '59 has smooth knobs. My '61 has knobs that are actually
the cover securing knobs from an old furnace humidifier. :-) They are the
right size and work great!

info! Both of mine are round, as you describe, but one of them is smooth and
round and the other has sort of a scalloped surface.... Is the smooth one more
likely the original?
