Well, my 2001 Dodge diesel dually's cruise isn't a fuel miser either

(but I can get nearly 20 mpg or better on the highway with that truck, which
is pretty amazing. 16 mpg around town, and 14 to 16 mpg on the highway when
towing a 30' trailer loaded with 2 race Sprites, the Thicko grille, the
Thickotone's PA system, a bigass toolbox, compressor, generator, 8 spare
wheels and tires, and a bunch of other spares...)

"....use gross throttle adjustments"

Yep. My experience exactly albeit with older
equipment. Wonder in these days of digital
tech whether the new stuff is better in
this respect??
