Just a thought.

One of Frank C's favorite places to look for
this intermittent fault is the main terminal
into the starter....despite the fact the nut
holding the wires onto the terminal is tight, the terminal itself is often 
found (in some cases like this) moving around in there, making for intermittent 
contact.
