Great!!! :(

With a little bit of luck, all went well yesterday without doing damage. It
was a total of 15 kilometers ( 9-ish miles ) broken into 2 separate trips.
Block coolant heat didn't get above 180 and the rad was within low normal
temps.

I've got the Ford back and have to figure out how to get the new header out
to the coating company during my work hours.

Well cracked header = all bad news

1. Reduces scavenging of exhaust gases
2. Can lead to burnt exhaust valves
3. Increases eng. compartment temperatures and thus....

a. "loads" cooling system
b. increases combustion temps (reduces margins to pre-ignition/detonation)
c. reduces performance/economy of op.
d. reduces service life of hoses, wires, etc. by exposing same to excessive
heat
