Ahh...wait a minute....
I've got my Bugeye list screwed up with my
Spridget list. Apologies, Lester. I'm talkin'
the wrong car!! :(
And while it has been many moons
since my PO'd '74 bit the dust, I seem
to remember a chrome ring with four screws which went through the ring,
rubber boot, carpet and into the xmission
tunnel bodywork.
But it's been so long that I could very well
be wrong.
So I shall gracefully bow
out and await a more educated response from a fellow lister who "knows" and
(re) learn along with you.
