At first I heard nothing then after I figured out that my computer  
sound was turned down I heard it clearly.  My husband, sitting in the  
kitchen about 15 feet away from the computer, whipped his head around  
trying to figure out what the sound was and where it was coming  
from.  We listen to loud music and we are in our early 30's.  BTW it  
did not affect the dog at all.
