I put the genny that Dick of Dicks elect said was good and started the car
with a jump start box. I still have a funky rubbing/squeeling noise that I
think is coming from inside the generator (I'll call Dick Monday to see if
he heard it too) and I tested the battery while running it's high was
13.0then went to
12.91 by the time I got tired of hearing the squeal. How do I hook up my
multi meter to check the voltage regulator?
I should just buy a new genny and at least get rid of the noise then if I
have to a voltage regulator. Ugh....... those pretty but expensive Bugeyes
on Ebay are looking better every minuet especially the lime green one with
the windup key as I look over to my BMW cycle for the cash : (
But those carbs that Frank so kindly rebuilt look stunning, check the before
and after pics on my site.
