And for the "we tight" group, a piece of brass square stock off the 
hobby metal rack at the hardware store will slip over the datsun cable 
and into the brit speedo.
You do have to uncrimp and swap the brit speedo knurled nut from your 
original cable and stick it on the datsun cable.
Mine has been this way for years.
