I've seen numerous reports and studies that claim deer whistles are
ineffective and that the noise made by them is beyond the hearing
range of animals such as deer and cows.
I looked into it years ago for the motorcycle and concluded it was
bunk but they're cheap, can't hurt I guess.

I was a short lister here. I bought a toy and not a spridget. Still
not convinced I did the right thing but at least now I'll find out
and if I don't like this

I'll sell it and go after a Midget again.

Any advice on car shipping is eagerly sought though as I've never
done anything like this before: long distance purchase and car
transport.
I'll hang out a bit to see if anyone has 2 cents for me.

PS if anyone ever needs a car looked at in the west michigan area,
don't hesitate to shoot me an email and I'll gladly check it out and
send pictures.

Which happens to be exactly what I have observed and experienced in
my deer whistle equipped Sprite & VW on more than one occasion.

And yep....horses, too which is great considering the stables that
border RT15
in my area wherein more than one horse has been struck on the Merritt
Parkway in Stamford in pre-whistle days.
