The plastic ones have always been cheesy. They look great for a year or
2 then start to fade, haze, and spider crack.
5 years out of a bonnet emblem is good. It's just the nature of the thing.
With these cars being garaged these days, emblems last a little longer.
I look at it this way.....
Spend $25 on a new pair of jeans or spend the same $25 on a new bonnet
emblem every couple years. You have to keep your car well dressed too ;)
