Those are Harland Sharp rockers.  I have a set, still new, never
installed.  They are supposed to be 1.3 ratio, IIRC.  They might
require N/S shimming on the shaft, but they shouldn't require any E/W
offset from OEM.  I think they're OK for "fast road" use but if I were
spending big bucks on a race motor, I would get something more
expensive.  I consider the HS rockers to be good for the price.  But,
you still get what you pay for,  unless you are the lucky one who just
picked up a Sprite racer for a song.

Maybe that cam was a regrind.  That, coupled with the excess deck
height, could have required very long pushrods.  Or, maybe someone
used custom or lightened cam followers that took away from the OAL of
the pushrod system.

Tearing apart race motors to see what's inside?  Sounds like Christmas
in May to me.
